Diana Davis uses God’s Word and personal stories to encourage women to “keep on shining!” A native of Fort Worth TX, Diana is an accomplished writer and popular speaker for women’s events. She especially enjoys encouraging pastor wives and deacon wives. She shares gleanings from her life experience as a mother, pastor’s wife and women’s ministry leader.

A graduate of Dallas Baptist University, Diana was awarded DBU’s prestigious Ruth Award for outstanding Christian service. She is working toward a master’s degree in theological studies from Liberty University.

In her new book, Fresh Ideas (B&H Publishing 2007), Diana shares 1000 Ways to Grow a Thriving & Energetic Church.

Her syndicated Fresh Ideas column appears in many Baptist state papers, including The Indiana Baptist. She co-authors the “He Said/She Said” column for Deacon Magazine and contributes regularly to other Christian publications, such as “Let’s Worship” magazine.

She is currently writing a book for deacon wives and another for women’s ministry leaders for 2008 publication.

Diana and her husband, Steve, have celebrated 35 years of marriage, and they live in downtown Indianapolis. They enjoy Colorado vacations, hiking, eating Mexican food, and walking their Sheltie, Prancer. Steve is the Executive Director for the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana.
